Instead of using the tank in the heater system just run a gasline from the tank of tie truck to the heater where ucan connect the hose. A driver did that and he never had to fill the tank in the heater. It works pretty good I rode with him once when we had to deliver a load to Alaska and had to tag team driving.

What them rings do is compress the copper or cup around the head , Sometimes they work and sometimes they do not , But you have to make sure all the water is out of your tanks , Just keep doing what you are doing , Keep an eye on your radiator , Even the old school brown Cummins Same problems , But always had to pull the head or we always had to pull the heads on the old school Good luck

If you bump it twice then hold it down it will rev up higher. To 1000 1200 1500 see if that works it does for mine I just did it one day and it worked.
